2I am a parent / guardian and want to change the name of a minor child. Is that possible?

4Is a lawyer required?

5I am still a minor (not yet 18 years old), can I change my name?
A request for first name change can only be made by the person charged with parental authority or by the institution in charge of custody. 6How long does a first name change take?
When the petition is complete, it is submitted to the court. Usually the judge makes the pronouncement change of name within 4 weeks. This happens in a decision. This decision must subsequently await another formal professional period of three months, after which the decision is final. Subsequently, the decision can be registered with the competent authorities and subsequently implemented.
7I have a foreign birth certificate. Can I change my first name?
